Result: a 74-layers design for 6-bounces pre-compensation mirror

OptiLayer has special options (quasi-random errors)  for post-production characterization of ultrafast coatings.

  • Spectral range: 650-1400 nm;
  • Target GDD is from -2500 fs2 at 650 nm to -250 fs2 at 1400 nm; 
  • Target reflectance is 100%;
  • 20 bounces
 

Result: a 96-layers design for 20-bounce pulse compressor

Example: An output coupler -a partially reflective mirror used to extract a portion of the laser beam from the optical resonator.

  • Spectral range: 65-1250 nm;
  • Target reflectance = 60%;
  • Target GDD=-45 fs2
 

Result: a 68-layers design solution; ftotal physical thickness is 7842 nm.
