What's new in OptiLayer in 2013 (version 9.96)
Convenient modifications are introduced in the editing and supplementary options of all programs.
- There is now more convenient saving of comments to saved files (designs, targets, etc.) during Save As operations. Before a selection of the file name from the existing file names in the bottom part of the Save As window caused saving of the comment corresponding to the selected file. Now an actual comment corresponding to the saved file is stored at the Save As operation.
- In the Windows menus of all programs there is a new item Use All Monitors. If this item is selected then all monitors in a multi-monitor configuration of your computer are used for opening new windows. Otherwise only a monitor with currently active window is used for opening new windows.
- The Template pinning-unpinning option has been implemented in all programs of OptiLayer software family and in stand-alone utility Plot Engine. It allows you to customize defaults of plotting. For example, it is possible to set specific line colors, specific line widths, etc. and to save them as a template. When some template is pinned to the plot, all corresponding settings are copied from this template. When a template is not required anymore, it can be unpinned.
|A powerful OptiLayer tool Column Editor has gained further development. The Transform tab has been added to the Column Editor window. Settings at this tab allow one to perform linear transformations of the selected subset of data.|
