What's new in OptiLayer in 2013 (version 9.96)

New in BBM simulator

OptiLayer options for computational manufacturing experiments (experiments simulating real deposition runs) are covering more and more production environments with various monitoring techniques. Along with production environments exploring broadband monitoring (BBM) of coating transmittance and reflectance it is now possible to simulate also production runs in vacuum chambers equipped with BBM systems measuring coating back side reflectance (BR).

The ability to simulate production runs with various indirect BBM strategies is now provided by OptiLayer. The check box "Use Chips distribution" at the second step of the BBM simulation dialog should be selected to activate this option. A correspondence between witness chips and layers monitored at these chips is specified using the Monitor item of the Results menu. Support of indirect monitoring strategies is implemented also in OptiReOpt.
