Quasi-Random Errors (advanced mode) of OptiRE:

  • Combines the features of the Systematic Errors and Random Errors modes. It incorporates the sophisticated mathematical algorithm based on the most advanced ideas of the theory of inverse problems (so-called ideas of the regularization of the inverse problem solution). It allows you to take into account a priori information about levels of errors in layer thicknesses.
  • Allows you to perform a simultaneous or combined search for random and systematic errors in layer thickness, optical constants corrections and layer inhomogeneities. This search is a multiparametric inverse problem which solution may be unstable and non unique.

The option is able to provide excellent results in complicated cases, but application of this option requires experience in solving reverse engineering problems.
